Ingredients:
1 pound pasta of your choice
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Fresh basil, chopped
Instructions:
Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package. Drain the water and set the pasta aside.
In a separate pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic and cook until the onion is soft and translucent, about 5-7 minutes.
